Located in the residential area of Ouyoun Broumana in Lebanon, this project is part of a growing development region. Residential constructions in this area combine modern architecture with underground structures requiring reliable waterproofing solutions to ensure long-term durability.

For this project, Bentobar+ swellable strips from Bekina BeSealed were used as an efficient seal for construction joints. In residential buildings, these joints are particularly critical in basements, foundations and underground parking areas, where exposure to groundwater can lead to leakage and structural damage over time.

Bentobar+ expands upon contact with water, creating an active sealing solution and durable seal that adapts to the surrounding concrete. Even after repeated wet-dry cycles it creates a perfect seal, thanks to the high rubber content.

The result is a stable and durable sealing solution that contributes to the overall quality and longevity of the residential building, while minimizing the risk of water ingress.
