Sealing Insert
Bekina® BeSealed Sealing Inserts are special swellable strips for waterproofing prefabricated segments and tunnels. The sealing inserts can be integrated into the EPDM profiles that connect the tunnel segments. In the event of water infiltration into the concrete of the tunnel, these sealing inserts ensure a rapid seal, eliminating any chance of leakage.

The (Polybar+) Sealing Insert is available in a standard version and variants for use in seawater or contaminated water (Polybar+ Salt Sealing Insert) and in water with very high salt concentrations (Polybar+ Superswell Sealing Insert).

How do I install the Sealing Insert?
Follow the simple step-by-step plan here.
Provide a profile, where you can slide the Sealing Insert into the profile.
Use a pull rod to gently push the Sealing Insert further into the profile.
The Sealing Insert is installed. Check that it is evenly placed and firmly seated in the profile.
