Our variants

Polybar+ is available in the standard version as well as other variants. Polybar+ Salt is for use in seawater or contaminated water. Polybar+ Superswell is for use in water with very high salt concentrations. Polybar+ RP offers rain protection.

Polybar+ Salt

Swellable strips for use in seawater or contaminated water

Polybar+ Salt is the saltwater variant of Polybar+. This swellable strip works excellently in seawater (up to 3% salt) and in contaminated water (e.g. with manure and mud).

POLYBAR+ Superswell

Swellable strips for use in water with extremely high salt concentrations (up to 10%)

The Polybar+ Superswell is a lightweight Polybar+ swellable strip with a high expansion capacity, specially developed for applications in waters and areas with an extremely high salt content (salt concentrations up to 10%). For example, this product is often used in desalination plants.

POLYBAR+ RP

Swellable strips with rain protection

The Polybar+ RP is a Polybar+ swellable strip that swells with a delay upon contact with rain or moisture. For the first two days, Polybar+ RP swells up to 4x less than the standard Polybar+. However, the Polybar+ RP also develops the desired expansion pressure in concrete water. Recommended for construction joints in concrete, reinforced concrete, steel and pipelines.
