At Bekina BeSealed, we continuously listen to our customers’ needs. This leads to innovation with a focus on ease of use and efficiency. We are therefore proud to introduce a new variant of our Polybar+ to our range: Polybar+ EasySealed with a self-adhesive strip.
Our hydrophilic swellable strip Polybar+ was already trusted for reliable waterproofing of concrete structures, but with this new version, we are taking it one step further. Thanks to its integrated self-adhesive tape, installation is faster and easier than ever, no additional adhesive or fasteners required. That means saving time, reducing costs, and minimizing waste on site.
How does it work?
You apply the Polybar+ EasySealed directly to the desired location. The adhesive strip ensures that the product stays firmly in place immediately, without any hassle or additional steps. A simple solution that works right away. Suitable for application on walls in any orientation including horizontal, vertical and upside-down construction elements
Step 1: surface preparation
- Ensure the surface is even, clean, dry and free from dust, grease or debris.
- Use a brush to remove concrete chips and other debris.
Step 2: applying Polybar+ EasySealed
- Apply the Polybar+ EasySealed at temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C.
- Peel back a small section of the protective liner to expose the adhesive.
- Position the Polybar+ EasySealed on the desired even surface and press firmly while gradually removing the liner.
- When starting a new roll, ensure there is an overlap of at least 20 cm with the previous roll to maintain a continuous seal.
Step 3: securing the bond
- Apply firm, even pressure along the entire length of the tape using a roller or your hands.
- For optimal adhesion, press along the tape multiple times, applying extra pressure at the edges.
